Eastbourne Hospital Physiotherapy Department

As part of the expansion of the Physiotherapy department at Conquest Hospital, Hastings we were commissioned to create a decanting strategy for the existing facility which then enabled the extension building to be created for the enlarged department. Given the central location of the department it was only possible to extend the department within the courtyard adjacent. This in turn meant that traditional construction and the carrying of materials through the hospital corridors was not feasible.

As a consequence we designed modular buildings to be craned over the front of the hospital and located within the courtyard space.
